KALRAV an early intervention centre undertakes assessment and treatment of children with developmental delay between the age of one month and 10 years. Early Intervention is a systematic programme of therapy, exercises and activities designed to address the problem of developmental delay in children.

Development delay comprises of genetic and non-genetic causes and can be in the form of mental retardation, Cerebral Palsy, Down’s Syndrome, Autism, Asperger’s Syndrome, Attention Deficit Disorder, Dyslexia (Learning disabilities) etc. Non-genetic developmental delay mainly in the form of cerebral palsy can be diagnosed at an early stage and effective treatment if provided at such an early stage can help in making affected children self- reliant and improve their quality of life also.

In keeping with global standards and developmental scales, a detailed developmental assessment is made for every child visiting the Centre. Thereafter a treatment plan involving multiple therapy as prescribed by qualified medical and paramedical professionals is provided. such treatment consists of physiotherapy, occupational therapy, audio-visual therapy, speech therapy, play, cognitive, behaviour and sensory therapy.
